No Good
Synopsis

Filmmaker's Note
When Genuine Panama asked me to make this video, the brief was was too exciting to turn down: "We want something that is fun and high energy, a bit weird, that doesn't really look like a music video".
Genuine Panama have got a really unique, psychedelic, funky sound that was really fun to work with; it gave me loads of scope for off beat, high pace editing, with plenty of opportunities to highlight some of the instrumental flourishes with some erratic, trippy camera movement. There's also a few comical nods to some of my favourite old psycho-thrillers in there, which help to ground the video in psychedelic tradition.
I think the danger with a music video is creating something that doesn't do anything that the song doesn't already do; we really wanted to avoid that. It's great to see people enjoying 'No Good', and I'm glad that it stands up on its own two feet as an engaging film.
